What is the age range? Under 5s only. Supervision is required at all times.

How to book? Send us a message with the date, location, preferred package and timings, and we'll check our diary accordingly.

What packages do you have and how much do they cost? Our Starter Set is priced at £90, our Mini Set is priced at £110, while the Premium Set is available at £130. You can also select from various add-ons to enhance your purchase at an additional cost.

Is delivery free? Enjoy complimentary delivery within a 10-mile driving radius of Bishop's Stortford. For areas outside of this, an additional charge will apply, which will be based on the distance.

What's included? Our service includes equipment setup, breakdown, delivery and collection for your convenience.

Do I have to pay a deposit? To secure your date and time, we kindly request a £40 deposit upon booking. This deposit serves as your damage deposit and will be fully refunded to you when the equipment is collected, provided that there is no damage.

When do I pay in full? Payment is required in full upon delivery and set-up. We accept cash or bank transfer.

Is the equipment cleaned after each use? Absolutely, we make use of a cleaning product that's safe for babies.

Are there any rules? While we want you to have an amazing time, but we do ask that you take off your shoes before getting on the equipment, and keep face paints, food, and pets away from the area. To make it easy for you, we will display the rules alongside the equipment.

How much space does soft play take up? The full matting covers an area of 3.6m x 3.6m but we can change the shape of the matting to your space.

Can I have my booking outside? During the summer months (June - September), we can arrange for the soft play area to be set up outside. For best results, it should be set up on flat surfaces such as patios and decks. However, if you prefer it to be set up on grass, ensure the grass is short.

What happens in case of bad weather? Please have an indoor alternative as the British weather is so unpredictable. We will not be able to set up outside in rain or if rain is in the forecast.

Do I need a gazebo or an outdoor covering? Yes, we ask that you please have a gazebo already set up or a covering for all outdoor parties. This protects the soft play but also provides shade for the little ones. If you don't have one, we can provide a sun shade at an additional cost.

Bouncy Castle Frequently Asked Questions

Where can the bouncy castle be set up? The bouncy castle needs a flat area free of debris and sharp objects. The bouncy castle can be set up both inside and outside. If the bouncy castle is set up outside, it needs to be on grass. Unfortunately, we do not set up on tarmac, astro / fake turf or other hard surfaces outside. The bouncy castle also needs to within 20m of an electricity plug.

How much space will I need? The bouncy castle requires a space of 12ft (length) by 12ft (width) (3.65m x 3.65m). An additional 1.8m of space is required at the back and sides of the castle. An additional 3m is needed at the front of the castle.

How high is the bouncy castle? The bouncy castle is 8.5ft high (2.6m). If hiring a hall or indoor venue for your party be sure to check that it doesn’t have a really low ceiling. For outdoor hires be sure that there are no overhanging trees etc. that can catch onto the bouncy castle when it is inflated.

How will the weather affect my hire? In the days leading up to your hire we will keep a close eye on the weather forecast. If rain and / or high winds are forecast, then unfortunately we will not be able to set up. The maximum windspeed the bouncy castle can be inflated and used in is 24mph.

What if the wind increases throughout the day? We will provide a handheld windspeed reader to you, so you are able to monitor the windspeed throughout the day. If the windspeed is more than 24mph then we ask you ensure everyone is off of the castle and deflate it until the windspeed has dropped.

How is the bouncy castle secure to the ground? If your hire is inside, we attach the bouncy castle to sandbags to stop it sliding or moving. If the hire is outside, we will bang metal pegs into the ground.

What is the maximum age allowed on the bouncy castle? The maximum age is 12 years old. The bouncy castle is designed for children and not adults. The restrictions on the bouncy castle are more designed to limit the height of the user to 1.2m.

What is the maximum height allowed on the bouncy castle? The maximum height of a child on the bouncy castle is the height of the inside walls – this is 1.2m

How many children are allowed on the bouncy castle at once? 6 children are allowed on the castle at one time.

Is the bouncy castle safety tested? The bouncy castle is tested by a PIPA inspector every year. PIPA standards are one of the leading standards in the UK for bouncy castles and recognised by the Health and Safety Executive.

What are the rules of using the bouncy castle? When the bouncy castle is hired to you, as the hirer or lessee you are responsible for the use and care of the castle. As the hirer, for the safety of all the children using the castle, you adhere and enforce the safety rules. -No food or drink, No shoes, No glasses or jewellery, No animals or pets, No face paints, No glitter & No sharp objects. -Ensure the castle is not overcrowded (No more than 6 children) and no children using it are too tall (1.2m) -Ensure the children are using the castle safely, not climbing on the walls, pushing / shoving / other foul play, not running around the castle & monitoring the safety of younger users. -Monitoring the weather conditions, including the wind speed and regularly testing the windspeed with the handheld reader to ensure the wind is below 24mph. -Monitoring the inflation of the castle, if the castle is to lose inflation for any reason to ensure all users quickly and safely get off the castle until the inflation issue can be rectified. -Monitoring the integrity of the castle, ensuring there are no rips, tears and the castle is not damaged.

Can I combine a bouncy castle with a soft play package? Yes, absolutely – a bouncy castle and soft play package combined can help cater for the ultimate party package and complement each other perfectly.
